Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey started at the age of 14. As well as BJJ classes She also took classes in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. In the age of 18 years old, Ladd had her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd gained confidence after her win, and she won three bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell in the 1st round. After that, she went to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and beat her in a unanimous decision to put a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd won her next bout in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen began her career in 2015, signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta 16 saw her rise up to Bantamweight after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability took down McGill in the first round, and she managed to finish her in the third round via TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen then went on to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, but Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound for a second-round TKO victory. Ladd remained in the lead as she picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the first round. Also, she was awarded the bonus for performance of evening. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was the first fight she's ever had in any significant role. Both fighters fought a close fight that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. The two fighters each received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her streak of winning. Following a brief break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In a match that was a replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
