Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey started at the age of 14. As well as BJJ classes She also took classes in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound for a second-round TKO victory. Ladd remained in the lead as she picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the first round. Also, she was awarded the bonus for performance of evening. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was the first fight she's ever had in any significant role. Both fighters fought a close fight that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. The two fighters each received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her streak of winning. Following a brief break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In a match that was a replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
